What is Fallout 4?

Fallout 4 is an action role-playing video game.

It is the Skyrim to Fallout 3’s Oblivion, if you will – it iterates on the previous game’s already amazing systems, and it’s similarly dense with locations to explore, genuinely creepy monsters to fight, and superbly engrossing post-nuclear atmosphere that blends unsettling gore and death with dark comedy.

When you look at the story, the fresh setting and the enhanced game engine, Fallout 4 is to Fallout 3 what Skyrim was to Oblivion. However, a graphics bump and a shift from Washington and New Vegas to this rain-soaked Massachusetts wilderness is far more than skin-deep.

Fallout 4 developed by Bethesda Game Studios

Fallout 4 published by Bethesda Softworks for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Fallout 4 released worldwide on November 10, 2015, it is the fifth major installment in the Fallout Series.

Fallout Environment : The game is set within an open world post-apocalyptic environment that encompasses the city of Boston and the surrounding Massachusetts region known as “The Commonwealth”. The main story takes place in the year 2287, ten years after the events of Fallout 3 and 210 years after “The Great War” that caused catastrophic nuclear devastation across the United States.

Some Reviews:

  • This game is a very well made game but it does have lots of blood and gore which can be turned down in the game settings. Enjoy!
  • Fallout 4 is a fantastic, thoughtful game that anybody ages 13 and up will apreciate it. Its complex, and the violence is almost cartoony in a way, and not common, or excesively violent. The language is so infrequent you shouldn’t bother.
  • This game includes some violence, but it is not a central focus of playing (unlike games such as Halo and Call of Duty). Any fighting is mostly against non human fantastical (large insects and monsters) characters.
  • Parents, if you believe your child is mature enough to play violent and M rated games and his grades and success in school reflects this, let him play. I’ve known many children playing this game and most have not changed their personalities.
